New Sky Diving Facility in Naperville
Here is another activity for the adventurous and risk-taking residents of the Naperville area. The city welcomes its first indoor sky diving establishment by Texas-based Company, iFly. The new facility will house a 50 feet sky diving chamber that will be operated by a massive fan underneath. iFly’s proposal received full approval from the city council. The facility will be situated at a .7 acre lot in Naperville’s Freedom Commons. The location was originally designated for the construction of a bank but the idea of an additional entertainment center superseded those plans. After all, the city council is seeking to revive the life of Naperville and to ignite the local tourism in the area.
The new building will also include additional rooms to host special events such as parties, socials and business meetings. Councilman Steven Chirico expressed his excitement for this new entertainment complex and said that his sentiments were shared by the other members of his council. The directors of the Texas-based company have already decided on the price for the sky diving sessions that will start at $59.99 for half-hour.
The price covers gears, training and assistance from sky diving experts on the ground. This new establishment is expected to be a “people magnet” as it is a new way to have fun. iFly Spokesman, Stuart Wallock said that people will feel the same thrill as jumping out of a tree or from a high rising building. The company is extremely confident about the success of this venture. Construction is currently underway so the directors are expected to wrap up by early next year.
