Go the Distance with the BMW i3 Electric Car
The luxury car company, BMW will debut its latest electric vehicle, the BMW i3, that is expected to drive on a single charge for more than 90 miles. Following the release of its first battery-operated vehicle in 2011, the company has been working on the performance and endurance of this new car automotive technology.
The i3 is dubbed the “fun” wagon as it comes with an optional range extender to facilitate long journeys. Set to debut next year in the United States, the i3’s range extender is an additional gasoline engine that powers the vehicle when the battery dies.
However the i3 is more than just a power machine, this cool Sedan utilizes a power recovery system so that the brakes become obsolete. The fabulous features of this new electric vehicle will certainly convince more consumers to trust alternative powered vehicles. Head of Sales at BMW, Ian Robertson said that the i3 Electric should draw more car shoppers to the dealership outlets.
The introduction of electric vehicles was not widely welcomed in America as battery-operated items didn’t seem to have the permanence and reliability. However BMW made every effort to improve on these electrical wagons to meet the demands of the market.
Indeed, the BMW i3 electric car is the start of a new generation of battery-powered vehicles. They are stronger, reliable and last longer on the road. Robertson has not announced a price for the electric Sedan but automotive critics predict that BMW will offer a reasonable price based on its track record. The luxury company believes in value for hard-earn cash spent.
