Rumors have it that Santa Claus might make an early visit to the sports car fans in America since Sony announced the launch of Gran Turismo 6 on the same day that BMW will launch the M3/M4. Things should get pretty interesting this week as these fast car lovers crowd the nearest video game stores and BMW outlets to verify the rumors. Was this a planned move by both companies?
Well the truth will be revealed soon. Sony has revealed its interest in the M4 concept and has integrated this new BMW model in its latest version of the infamous Gran Turismo videogame. For some fans, this is a great opportunity to test drive the fabulous sports car on the virtual courses before it revs up some killer speed on real roadways.
However, it seems as if these roadsters are ready to hit the road for real. Talk about having your cake and eating it too! The new M3 and M4 use a 3-liter turbocharged engine that churns out 430 horsepower that is matched by 413 pound-feet of torque. Available in a host of stylish colors to include Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic, Silverstone Metallic and many more, these cars will definitely get some heads turning this holiday.
Not many is being said by the automakers who proudly joined forces with the electronic giant to transform their concept cars into virtual form but it is pretty certain that the launch date for these vehicles are very close. Everyone will wait and see if the rumors are true, if BMW and Sony will make a double debut a few days ahead of Christmas.
