Aero Package for F10
The current standard features of the 2013 BMW M5 Base boasts 4.4L V-8 560hp twin turbo engine, but an exciting new package is soon to be available in the aftermarket for the F10. Images have just been revealed of the project, dubbed the “aero package” by the California-based tuner Vorsteiner, which includes a carbon-fiber body kit, new wheels, and a choice of exhaust. Vorsteiner is the leading producers of quality tuning programs for the 5 series. Specifically, the project includes an add-on spoiler and splitter up front and decklid spoiler in the back and the possibility of a boot lid spoiler and integrated wing profile. Additionally, there will be carbon-fiber aerodynamic components as well as new alloys and a number of performance changes.
If that wasn’t enough, there will also be an optional stainless-steel and titanium exhaust system. Furthermore, Vorsteiner included a rear diffuser replacement with a single-piece integrated diffuser fins and new 20-inch forged wheels in their distributed images of the soon to be released products. These products will join Vorsteiner’s current selection of forged alloy wheels up to 22 inches in diameter. The project will be finished next month and other changes are still waiting to be revealed, but what has been revealed has the aftermarket very eager to build upon an already impressive car.
