4 Simple Tips to Keep Your BMW Clean
We all love our cars, but that means we tend to spend a good amount of time in our cars. Over time, unwanted items can build up in your car causing it to be cluttered. Many drivers do not realize that they are populating their vehicle with too much unnecessary clutter. Many traffic and road safety groups encourage drivers to abandon the practice of stocking up vehicles with unnecessary items to minimize injury during an accident. Here are 4 tips to help you keep the clutter to a minimum:
Don’t Forget to Clean Under the Seat.
Many small items get shoved accidentally under the seat, especially when children are in the car. It’s best to use a vacuum with an extension hose to get to those hard to reach spots.
Cup holders tend to build up with trash or sticky messes. They should be cleaned out regularly. Most cup holders have a liner that can be removed and washed thoroughly. Be sure to scrub them well because residue from cups and bottles tend to sink to the bottom and build up over time.
Unfortunately, these little slots are the most popular areas to store unwanted garbage. A good practice is to empty the door pockets every time you exit the vehicle. Or, always keep certain items in the door pocket, such as napkins, so you always have access to them.
Utilize the Glove Compartment.
This small pocket is the best place to store important documents and folders. By always keeping things in the same spot, it helps to stay organized and remember where to look for specific things when you want them.
